Obtaining

Titanium Dioxide is a synthetic inorganic white pigment, anatase and rutile, obtained by hydrolysis of titanium sulfate solution followed by calcination of hydrated titanium dioxide.

Application

Depending on the crystal structure there are two forms of titanium dioxide: R — rutile and A — anatase. In case of surface treatment an index «0» added to mark the brand.

Depending on the application titanium dioxide is produced in following brands: P-1, P-02, P-03, P-04, P-05, A-1, A-2, A-01, A-02.

Titanium Dioxide Р-02 is usually used for the production of paints, including water-dispersion weather resistant; plastic, artificial leather, film materials.

Titanium Dioxide is fire and explosion proof. It is a substance of the 4th level of danger for the human body.

Packing

Titanium dioxide pigment is packed in steel flasks; steel, cardboard with seams, plywood and plywood with polyethylene liner drums; wooden, wooden with a plastic liner, plastic, paper, rubber cloth barrels.

It is allowed to pack titanium dioxide pigment in special soft disposable containers.
